ZEvent

ZEvent is a company that focuses on development of engineering software design solutions. After the 1998 release of the educational version of UCFiber freeware, demand for a professional version spurred the development of UCFyber 1999.

ZEvent was started by Charles Chadwell in 1999 as a small business to provide engineers with technical up to date structural design tool that provides invaluable insight in earthquake design and analysis.

Charles Chadwell, the creator of UCFyber, is currently a Ph.D candidate at the University of California at Berkeley.  His research is on the modeling and behavior of long span bridges.
